NEWS YOU CAN USE: CHECK BACK HERE FOR UPDATES.
* Christmas Parade: Friday, December 5th in Downtown Clio!
* Christmas Necessities Drive December 6, 2014
Donations are welcome at Clio City Hall between now and Saturday, December 6, 2014. What are necessities? Those things not covered by traditional food programs such as toilet paper, soap, shampoo, laundry soap, diapers, and other personal items. Turns out that the very poor among us find help with these items to be VERY helpful. The Clio Rotary donated $500 to be matched by $500 by Walmart for the drive but more is needed. Buy an extra roll and drop off at City Hall.
* OLD NEWSBOYS ARE IN CLIO, TOO!
The Old Newsboys will be selling newspapers again this year in communities across the county. The idea is to leave no child behind, and they work with schools and communities to make that happen. Contribute large! Watch for them on the corners!
